“Jack in the Box gives ranch lovers more of what they crave” by Cristine Struble, FoodSided

Jack in the Box is calling all ranch lovers. In honor of National Ranch Day, on March 10, select locations in Los Angeles will offer a special experience. Is the offering the best way to satisfy that ranch craving?

Although a food holiday is always a reason to indulge in that favorite food, many restaurants and brands use the celebration to make the day even bigger. For Jack in the Box, National Ranch Day is all about giving the biggest ranch fans exactly what they want, more ranch.

Located at select locations in Los Angeles, Jack in the Box has set up one of a kind CRAVE vending machines. While these machines might not have Tiny Tacos or some tasty chicken sandwiches, they are a ranch filled treat.

CRAVE stands for “Cool (AF), Ranch, Automatic, Vending, Experience.” Fans can visit one of these special vending machines receive “endless amounts of ranch” as well as a variety of prizes.

The CRAVE vending machines are located at:

• Santa Monica Place (between Nike and Tesla) • Hollywood & Highland (Hollywood Blvd across the street from El Capitan Theatre) • Grand Central Market (right off the sidewalk on Broadway)

The vending machines will be available from 11 a.m. till 7 p.m.

For many people, Jack in the Box ranch is the ultimate condiment. Whether you slather it on a burger, dip your fries in it, or just ask for extra because you cannot get enough, the reality is people can’t get enough of that buttermilk ranch.

Although this special promotion is just for the Los Angeles area, it might make other cities jealous of the ranch offering. Many people would love to have extra ranch at their disposal.

Even though food vending machines are becoming more popular, this idea could spark other fun promotions going forward. Could a salsa Segway be next?

What do you think of this Jack in the Box promotion? Would you like a ranch vending machine in your area?
